What I like about Rudees so much is that he brings this awesome classical element to bands. It seemed like people had other commitments before then. That would be great if it does. The first obvious thing was that we had to play the hits. This speaks volumes as to just how good of a pianist he is.

When did you realise that things would click with the other guys? I would say that one of the main challenges we have is to try and live up to the original Cars legacy and to play the old songs with authority. It probably took you a little while to realise that?

Kasim and Prairie bring a more aggressive feel to the rhythm section and they're very tight musically with each other. You gotta add Chick Corea, check out the tune Spain. Greg was very involved with sequencing, synthesizers, and technology, and was largely responsible for the synthpop and new wave sound of THE CARS .

Before I get into the list, I want to say that, oftentimes, the best of something in the world is usually someone that the public has never heard of.
